HELPING WOMEN IN ALL LEVELS OF THEIR CAREER
TWT CORE 4 PRINCIPLES
We believe in four core principles that are game changers in the advancement of women in technology
Men Need to Be Allies
Men need to be active sponsors of initiatives which promote the advancement of women in technology. Many men are decision makers in their respective organizations and hence in a position to drive positive change. We want men to join us in the room, engage with us and become TWT Allies that champion the advancement of women in technology in their respective organizations.
Knowledge Brings Competitive Advantage
Technology is a dynamic and ever changing industry and women must be accountable for their career progression and professional development. Knowledge of industry trends, challenges and solutions will allow women to gain a competitive edge in the workplace. TWT events, training, and webinars will help women to be more competitive in the workplace.
Each Woman Has Unique Challenges and Aspirations
Flexible working and maternity leave are not the primary issues faced by all women in the workplace. Each woman has her own respective challenges and career aspirations and opportunities need to address the broader range of issues faced by women. TWT seeks to present career opportunities and options that address a diverse range of challenges and aspirations.
Aligning Fragmented Communities Delivers Power
There are numerous forums and programs focused on women in technology. In order to improve the opportunities for women organizations with similar objectives must partner and bring together various communities focused on advancing women in technology.
